Safety First, Always

The Standards Behind Every Session

Principals trust us on their campuses and parents trust us with their kids. Here is exactly why, and why families stay for years, not just one season.

LiveScan Background Checks

Every coach passes LiveScan fingerprinting, the highest level of background check in California, before stepping on a field.

CPR, AED & First Aid

Coaches hold current CPR, AED, and first-aid certifications so help is always seconds away, not minutes.

Concussion & Reporter Trained

CDC HEADS UP concussion protocol and California mandated-reporter training, completed by every coach, every year.

A Second Family

Kids come for after-school and stay for camps, club, birthday parties, and more. We build real relationships over years, not just one season. Owners live here locally and are fully committed seven days a week.

Heat & Weather Protocols

Clear hot-day hydration rules, shade breaks, and air-quality cutoffs for every campus. LA summers are no joke.

“Nordic Soccer has been a true gift for our family for a few years now. Andreas and his coaches have an inspiring vision of football and community. Their philosophy goes far beyond simple football. It is focused on character, team spirit and joy. The positive emotional development we have seen in our son is incredible.”

“I also hired Nordic Soccer for birthday parties, and it was always a great success with the children! My son has been learning football with the team for three years (since the age of 4) and he has developed a real passion for the sport. The coaches are extremely professional, responsive and reliable.”

“The Nordic Soccer coaches are wonderful with children: they quickly grasp each child’s personality, build great relationships, always encourage participation and are totally inclusive. Football is a great sport and I am truly lucky that Nordic Soccer is my son’s first club.”

★★★★★

“An excellent introduction to football, perfectly adapted to toddlers. My son started at age 2, and today at 4 he attends his weekly class with impatience. The team makes a point of honour of getting to know each child individually, adapting to their pace and learning style.”

Good Questions

Before You Ask

How much does Nordic Soccer cost?+

After-school programs are from $159 per 8-session pack (1x/week). Development training starts at $99 per month. Club is a flat $149 per month. The Viking League is $199 for a 10-game season.

What ages do you coach?+

From age 2 through 6th grade. Toddler classes run at Valley Village, after-school covers TK through 6th, and club teams go from U6 to U12.

Are your coaches background checked?+

Yes. Every coach is LiveScanned, the highest level of fingerprint background check in California, plus CPR/AED certified, concussion trained, and mandated-reporter trained.

Which schools do you operate at?+

We run on-campus programs at 20+ schools across the San Fernando Valley including Carpenter, Colfax, Sherman Oaks, Toluca Lake, Chandler, Dearborn, Topeka, Hesby Oaks, Chime, Ingenium, and EMEK.

Can my child try a class before signing up?+

Yes. Book a free trial here and we will confirm your trial day within one business day. Prefer to talk? Call 818-873-9504.

What happens if a class is canceled or we join mid-season?+

We do our best to schedule a makeup session if the calendar allows, or we extend sessions by adding bonus time throughout the following weeks. Your child can also join mid-season with no problem. Just reach out and we will sort it out.

Do you have a girls-only program?+

Yes. We offer girls-only classes when enrollment allows. If we do not get enough players to fill a girls-only class, we run co-ed. Either way, girls are always welcome and supported.

What is Futsal?+

Futsal is small-sided soccer played on a hard surface instead of grass. The smaller space and different ball force players to develop sharper ball control and get significantly more touches per session. It is one of the best ways to accelerate technical development.

What is the Viking League?+

The Viking League is our own recreational league where school-based teams verse each other. Anyone can join and be placed on a mixed team. The Viking League for the 2026–2027 season will run starting January 2027.

Is there an evaluation for Club?+

Yes. Reach out to us to schedule a player evaluation. If your child has not done extensive training before, we recommend starting with the After-School Program or Development Program first to build a strong foundation before moving into Club.

What is Pre-Club?+

Pre-Club is our entry-level competitive program for U6 and U7 players. We recommend at least 2 years of training experience before joining. Players compete in local games against other clubs in a low-pressure environment focused on development and game understanding. It is the bridge between recreational training and full club commitment.

Do you offer private coaching?+

If your child is enrolled in any of our programs, you can arrange private sessions directly with our coaches. Reach out to us and we will connect you. Private coaching is completely independent. We do not take a cut, our insurance does not cover 1-on-1 sessions, and rates are set by the coaches themselves (typically around $60–$70 per hour).
